Art Director / Lead Designer. Communication design

Job description:

Lead, unite, set up, and further expand your department;

Conduct design reviews, implement a systematic approach to the Communication department management, and develop young talents;

Prepare bright solutions for tenders to win them;

Meticulously understand the task, always consider the users and their needs, focus on marketing benefits;

Maintain client communications within brand books or develop them from scratch;

Help your team generate key visual concepts for advertising campaigns (in 2D and 3D);

Conduct quick, unmoderated research to test visuals;

Be responsible for the quality of produced materials, deliver design that corresponds to the meaning, trends, and quality;

Participate in communication with clients together with the project manager (briefing and project defense);

Develop and update a marketing design system and design principles for long-term projects;

Be eager to curate photo and video shoots.

Qualifications:

5+ years experience in the industry;

Advanced skills in Figma, AI, Photoshop, and Illustrator;

Art direction or design team leadership background;

Strong expertise in graphic design (composition, color, and knowledge of tools to achieve quality graphics);

Strong visual experience and ambition to develop state-of-the-art solutions. Ideally, to be the best in the design industry (this is exactly the ambition of Redis);

Relevant portfolio with real cases;

Knowledge of English at level B2 or above;

Experience in managing numerous small tasks and monitoring their quality implementation by the team;

Attention to details, healthy perfectionism.

Nice to have:

Ability to work with 3D, especially Blender;

Experience in motion design;

Understanding of AI possibilities on content creation, ability to use them;

Experience of working at a design agency;

Freelancers and outsourcers management experience.
